Varsity Football
Head Coach Lee Wiginton graduated from Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He also received a CARR academic scholarship and played football for two years. Coach Wiginton later earned his Masters in Educational Administration with a Mid-Management certification from Southwest Texas State University. His 17-year coaching experience includes high schools in Bastrop, Bosqueville, Comfort and Mexia. In 10 seasons as a head football coach, Coach Wiginton has coached in 18 playoff games. Since 2000, Coach Wiginton has received four “Co-Coach of the Year” and four “Coach of the Year” honors.
